Admissions Early Entry Degree Requirements Financial Aid Available Courses Forms Requirements: Applicants are encouraged to read the Graduate School's admissions page first to understand the general requirements for admission to a Masters' program at UNC Charlotte. In addition to meeting the general requirements as stated above, admission to the MSEE program is dependent on the applicant's demonstrated evidence of academic preparation and motivation to pursue graduate studies in the chosen field of study, as perceived from the application package. These are evaluated on the basis of the following:
Applicants with baccalaureate degrees in fields other than electrical and computer engineering (e.g. physics, mathematics, computer science, etc.) may be considered for admission, if satisfactory evidence on the aptitude to pursue graduate studies in electrical and computer engineering is demonstrated. If additional preparatory courses are required, such courses should be taken before applying for MSEE.
Application: UNC Charlotte uses an online application system (ApplyYourself). The application must be completed online and submitted electronically. Please contact the Graduate School regarding questions on completing an application in ApplyYourself. No application material should be mailed directly to the department.
